Two Cases of Syringomyelia, Surgical Experience

Abstract
|

|
Surgical purpose in the management of syringomyelia is to obtain accurate and patent cavitoarachnoid communication with minimal neural damage.
We are reporting two cases of syringomyelia which were treated with a silicon tubing and tantalum wire.
The m3rit of radiopaque and less traumatic tantalum wire is emphasized.
